Shahar lost in the first round to Zie Jheng world number 24 6-1, 1-6, 3-6.

Shahar's next tournamnet will be next week at the third grand slam of the year- Wimbledon.

First round preview

Shahar will play this week in Birmingham, Great Britain.  This is an International level tournament with a total prize money of 220,000$.

This is the last tournament before Wimbledon, and Shahar's First grass tournament this year.

In the first round Shahar will play against Zie Jheng, ranked 24 in the world.

The match should take place on Tuesday.
