Shahar made a great comeback against world number 52, Polona Hercog. Shahar was down 2-6, 1-5 and a match point, before coming back to win 2-6, 7-5, 6-3.
Shahar's next match will be tomorrow (Wednesday) against world number 4 Venus Williams.
First round
Shahar won her first round match against world number 184, Corinna Dentoni 6-2, 6-1.
In the next round Shahar will play against Polona Hercog which she beat last week.
The match should take place on Tuesday.
